S.B.C.T.

S.B.C.T. is a charitable organization founded by Mr R. S. Singhania & Mrs Laxmi Singhania in 1969, registered under section 12A of the Indian Income Tax Act, audited annually by an independent chartered accountancy firm, with tax returns submitted every year, having Darpan registration with NITI Aayog in India, granted 80G tax exemption certification as well as permission under FCRA 1976 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Grih Mantralaya, Govt. of India. Its charitable activities have included the provision of scholarships through School Principals to children at risk of discontinuing education due to financial pressures, donation of funds towards purchase of school books for the school’s book banks, payment of Board & University examination fees of deserving students as well as provision of fans & water coolers for schools. In the current year, S.B.C.T. has distributed nearly 20,000 health education books to secondary school children of over 35 schools in Bangalore as listed below.
